Submission Types

1. Research Articles (5000-7000 Words)

Repertus will accept full length research articles on multiple aspects of linguistics, language planning and policy. The manuscript shall be arranged in the following order.

1.       

TITLE

Title should be brief, clear and informative. It should preferably be a maximum 50 characters long, with an absolute maximum of 70, including spaces. The title page should describe the exact title of the research paper, authors names and present address (maximum three authors are allowed), field of study, concerned department / institute, faculty and the month and year of writing of the research paper.

2.       

ABSTRACT

Abstract will be of 250 words followed by five to seven keywords (Title should not be repeated in the keywords). As per APA style, abstract should describe: the problem under investigation, the participants, the essential features of the study methods, particularly the interesting features of the study, methodology, the basic findings, significance, conclusions and implications of the study.

3.       

INTRODUCTION

Introduction will set the background and clarify the objectives of the study. It will consist the research questions, hypothesis and brief introduction of methodological approaches applied in the study.

4.       

LITERATURE REVIEW

Adequate and relevant literature will be covered on the topic in this section. Authors should use past tense for literature review section.

5.       

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Authors should effectively clarify the overall methodology of the study including philosophical paradigm, research design, instruments, participants etc.

6.       

RESULTS

This section will cover two third of the whole paper. Further, the analysis should be written in simple and effective way. It may include tables, charts and figures, if necessary.

7.       

DISCUSSION

This section should include effective interpretation of the results. It should also link findings of the present study with other studies.

8.       

CONCLUSION

The concluding section should briefly review the overall sections from introduction to the results or findings.

9.       

REFERENCES

All references should be arranged alphabetically. The first line of every reference should be aligned with left but hanging rest. (Please include latest Research Journal(s).

10.   

TABLES

Each Table should have a title stating concisely the nature of the information given. Units should be given in brackets at the heads of the column and it should be cited in the manuscript with sequence.

11.   

FIGURES

If required, Figs. Caption must be included) must be cited in the manuscript with sequence.

12.   

Authors are advised to give UNDERTAKING that this Research Paper is their original work/contribution and not published before in any Journal or in any Conference.

2. Review Papers and Book Reviews (2000 to 4000)

Repertus welcomes reviews of recent publications/books (after 2016 at least) and theories focusing on variety of aspects related to Linguistics and Language planning. Review report should present a clear, succinct description, critical or evaluative overview of the selected theory or book. It should also include the means of evaluating the relevance of the material to the targeted field of theory and practice. Reviewers are strongly advised to put references to published theory and relevant research. The word length can be between 2000 to 4000 words.

3. Classroom Explorations (1000 to 1500):

Repertus also invites teachers to share their own teaching and learning experiences in ESL/EFL classroom. Contributors have to base their reports on the conceptual, theoretical or research perspective. This kind of manuscript is meant to generate varied perspectives from real life experiences of ESL/EFL classrooms.
