She explores the postcolonial themes of revolution, cultural identity and abrogation of the English language. The present study covers most of the aspects of the cruel treatment of White Men over Africans. The qualitative research approach is used as it is a systematically predefined set of procedures to answer the research questions. Norman Fairclough’s model of Critical Discourse Analysis has been used to reveal the power misused by the colonizers and the resistance of power by the colonized in postcolonial Literature, the main aim of CDA is to analyze the enactment and resistance of power in the given text. With the help of Fairclough’s model, the Postcolonial context of the poetess, ideology and power relations have been explored in the text. Fairclough’s approach to discourse analysis focuses on the language of the text as well as concerned with what happens in a particular text. These two concerns are made through the way in which texts are analyzed in CDA. The study reveals the cultural identity crisis and white hegemony and suffering of Africans as key features in colonial discourse. To a layman or a beginner in the field of linguistics, these terms may seem similar; they may even be used interchangeably. For looking at the domains of their usages, and finding out the underlying ideologies, various studies were reviewed. Each term is described separately along with its ideological background. After that, a synthesis is put forward under the heading of which similarities and differences among the three terms have been noted. The study reveals major ideological differences among GE, WE and ELF. Sentences, phrases, and words are the hierarchies of language syntactic structures. This paper has discussed one of these constructions which is the phrase. It takes the Urdu nominal phrase for the analysis under the eye X bar theory of phrase by Chomsky (1970). The research has been carried out qualitatively with a descriptive-analytical approach. Despite the availability of several books, newspapers, magazines, and internet resources for developing Sindhi text corpora, a suitable and effective textual corpus could not be generated and offered accessible for investigation, language characteristics research, semantics assessment, and information gathering systems. The paucity of tools for computational linguistics research and NLP apps for Sindhi is stimulating complications at this time. Moreover, we have built Sindhi text libraries to provide computer linguistics, NLP specialists, and academics with text resources. The Sindh Text Book Board and primary school textbooks are used to create the Sindhi text corpus. Using the 2-gram approach of the n-gram model, using the Document Term Matrix and TF-IDF models, a Sindhi belief text dataset is produced and evaluated. In the Sindhi speech community, lexical borrowing is a common linguistics feature along with code-switching and mixing. It is sometimes caused by the lack of equivalent lexical items and many other reasons. This research aims to investigate the influence of lexical borrowing from the English language on the Sindhi language. The methodology followed in the current research is qualitative and data was collected through semi-structured interviews (n=8) using convenience sampling. The collected data was analyzed through thematic analysis based on Braun and Clarke’s model (2006).
